How to reserve your stay at La Plaine Tonique ?
Online, by clicking on “Reserve online”: choose your type of rental or campsite pitch, fill out the form and submit it with your credit card.

I know the campsite, can I choose a particular pitch ?
When booking, you can state which sector you want to be in. We will then allocate you the pitch that is best suited to your requirements subject to availability.
What time can I arrive and access my rental accommodation ? My campsite pitch ?
Arrivals are between 4pm and 7.30pm for rental accommodation, and between 2pm and 7.30pm for pitches.
We might arrive very late. What happens if reception is closed ?
In the event of late arrival, please inform campsite reception on+33(0)4 74 30 80 52 before 7pm. On arrival, the security team at the site entrance will welcome you and give you the keys to your rental accommodation or the number of your pitch. You can check-in at campsite reception the following morning.
By what time do I have to leave my rental accommodation/pitch ?
Departures are between 8am and 10am for rental accommodation, and between 9am and 12pm for pitches.
Can I park my car next to the rental accommodation ?
Yes, you can park up to one vehicle. There is a charge for any additional parking spaces.
Should I bring my own sheets ? Are there any blankets ?
Sheets are not provided. Sets of sheets are available at an additional cost. If you require sheets, please specify this when you make your reservation. Blankets are provided.
Is the rental accommodation air-conditioned ?
Some of our rental accommodations are aire-conditioned. Information HERE.
Are televisions provided in the rental accommodation ?
No.
Are pets allowed ?
Pets are only allowed on the campsite pitches (up to two per pitch). They are not allowed in the rental accommodation. The presence of pets is subject to an additional charge. Please consult the rates before you book your pitch. Category 1 & 2 animals are not allowed. You must have your animal’s up-to-date vaccination card with you during your stay. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times, bags for picking up waste are available at the campsite reception. Pets are not allowed on the beaches, except in the bathing area after Tahiti Beach, which is reserved for them.
Are visitors allowed ?
You can receive visitors. However, visitors must park outside the campsite (in the visitors’ car park) and pay for access to the site (either the beach rate or the beach and water park rate).
If visitors wish to stay on your pitch or in your rental accommodation (subject to its capacity), you must accompany them to campsite reception, so that they can pay for the night(s) and the tourist tax. The visitor(s) will then receive a campsite bracelet entitling them to access to the water park during their stay.

How can I cancel my stay ?
Please inform campsite reception of your cancellation as soon as possible by email at contact@laplainetonique.com or by phone on +33(0)4 74 30 80 52. Please see our General Terms of Sale.
What should I do if the error code 012 appears when I connect to my customer area ?
To avoid the 012 error code that regularly appears with a Microsoft Edge internet connection, we invite you to browse our website using the Google Chrome or Firefox search engines.
LEISURE CENTRE
Is the leisure centre open all day ?
Yes, the leisure centre is accessible by the day. Access to the beach and aquatic centre is subject to a charge for day guests from outside the campsite. You can find all the prices in the Leisure Centre brochure.
Dogs are not allowed in the Leisure Centre.
Can I bring my barbecue to the picnic area ?
No. Individual barbecues are forbidden on the Leisure Centre. Only the fixed barbecues provided in the picnic area and near the pedestrian ticket office may be used.
CARRÉ TONIQUE AQUATIC CENTRE
Are my shorts style swimming trunks allowed in the water park ?
No. Only swimsuits are allowed.
How old do children have to be to access the water park unaccompanied ?
11 years-old, with no exceptions.
Is the water park open in the low season ?

LAKE
Is swimming supervised ?
Yes, when access to the Leisure Centre is subject to a charge. See the periods of paid access.
Outside these periods, swimming is authorised at the user’s own risk.
On site, signs indicate supervision and swimming authorisation.
Are motor boats allowed ?
No. Only boats without motors are allowed, and in accordance with the designated boating areas.
Can I fish in the lake?
Fishing is permitted in certain areas of the lake, which you can see on our shoreline map, on presentation of a valid fishing card.
Fishing cards are sold in the Agri Sud-Est shop in Montrevel-en-Bresse (opposite the Caisse d’Epargne bank) and the GAMM VERT shop in Jayat.
ACCESS TO THE SITE
How can I access the site without a vehicle ?
La Plaine Tonique is one hour from Lyon Saint Exupéry airport and one hour 30 minutes from Geneva airport. You can take the train to Bourg-en-Bresse from these airports, and then the coach to Montrevel-en-Bresse (the Leisure Centre or Caisse d’Epargne Bank stop).

Once you are here, everything is within walking distance: supermarkets, bakeries, post office, shops, pharmacies, medical centre, etc.
COMING WITH THE RUBIS BUSES
I live in Bourg-en-Bresse or the surrounding area and have no means of getting to the Plaine Tonique leisure centre. What can I do with the Rubis network?
There are 3 ways to get to La Plaine Tonique:
- Board the Rubis line 150 coaches:
- Monday to Saturday, except in summer: “Montrevel-en-Bresse – Charles de Gaulle” stop, just over 1 km from La Plaine Tonique. From €2.60 return.
- Monday to Saturday, from 8 July to 31 August 2024: “Plaine Tonique” stop directly at the Leisure Centre car park. On presentation of your “Plaine Tonique” season ticket or “Forfait 1h” ticket, take advantage of a Bourg-en-Bresse/La Plaine Tonique return journey for just €1.30. - Think about carpooling! Go to the Rubis’Covoit’ Ligne stop of your choice (one of the following stops: Bourg-en-Bresse champ de foire Nord / Hôpital Fleyriat / Attignat). Select the Montrevel-en-Bresse direction and wait until a driver stops. And off you go!

Where can I buy a Rubis ticket?
Rubis tickets are sold at :
– Agence Grand Bourg Mobilités – 2 rue du 19 mars 1962 – 01000 Bourg-en-Bresse, with the exception of single tickets, which are only available on board from the driver and can be used immediately after purchase.
– At Rubis network partner ticket agents: only certain full-fare tickets are available. A sales outlet has recently opened in Montrevel-en-Bresse: Maison de la Presse (11 grande rue 01340 Montrevel-en-Bresse). The full list of outlets can be found on the Rubis website
– At www.oura.com
– From the driver on board the vehicle when boarding: only single tickets or event tickets. In this case, passengers are asked to top up their tickets.
Are bulky objects (such as coolers, buoys, etc.) accepted on board Rubis network vehicles?
Yes, as long as they do not obstruct the driver’s access to operate the compartments or technical cabinets located in the vehicles and facilities, and more generally, do not clutter up the aisle of the coach/bus or take the place of a passenger on a seat. Please deflate your floaties and place your cool box at your feet.
Am I allowed to smoke or vapourise on board Rubis network vehicles?
No, it is strictly forbidden to smoke or vapour on board Rubis network vehicles.
Can my child travel alone on the Rubis network? Is there a minimum age requirement?
Children over the age of 8 can travel alone on the Rubis network. Children under the age of 4 may use the Rubis network free of charge, but must be accompanied by someone holding a valid ticket.
Are pets allowed on board the Rubis network?
Passengers are forbidden to carry pets on board Rubis vehicles, under penalty of fine, except for: small animals in a closed basket and dogs used as guides for the visually impaired or to assist people with reduced mobility.

What payment methods does the campsite accept ?
Credit card (CB, Visa, Mastercard) online or on-site

Cash (on-site or by cash mandate) with a maximum of €300 per stay on dates different (French law art. 19 LFR 2013).
